Achieving Weight Loss Goals: Nicola lost 6 stone in one year!
Nicola is one of the original Trailblazers, here is her story on how she achieved her weight loss goals in her own words:
In April 2014 I attended my first Bootcamp with Antony. Since I started training with Antony I have never looked back. He made me feel very welcome. I was embarrassed what everyone else, including Antony might think and very nearly chickened out at the last minute. I’m so pleased I didn’t. He was so encouraging at every single session. At first I could do hardly anything, but, after a few months I was amazed what I could do and I even found myself keeping up with the big man himself whilst squatting! My body shape started to change for the first time years and I soon became addicted.
The difference between Trailblazer Bootcamps the others I’ve attended in Leeds is the close Bootcamp family feel!
There are people at different fitness levels yet everyone encourages each other and no one is made to feel silly or embarrassed. Antony is such a kind, honest, genuine person and that’s why I introduced my little boy to his sessions. He loves his boxing sessions and often joins me at Bootcamp where he’s eager to join in.
I can’t thank Antony enough. I’ve a long way to go to achieve my personal target but I’m extremely proud of my journey so far. Losing 6 stone has changed my life and I can now keep up with my kids and can even hold the plank for longer!
